As a Program Support Associate, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery and day-today operations of our diverse range of programs.
Part-time positions: ~15 hours+/week and casual positions
Hours:weekday/some weekend availability 7:00am–4:00pm (program-dependent)
some evenings
Pay: $22–$27/hr (experience-based)
Location: Across the Lower Mainland
Role Overview:
This position focuses on program delivery, logistical and operational support, outreach, and ensuring that each program runs smoothly and effectively meets its objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the program is delivered in alignment with Ethos Labs values and assist in the facilitation and coordination of program activities.
- Provide logistical support to ensure the smooth operation of programs, including setting up and taking down equipment, preparing materials, and cleaning up following all programs.
- Assist participants with the use of equipment and resources.
Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all participants. - Support the implementation of program-specific methodologies and processes.
- Participate in organizing program events and activities to enhance participant engagement and practical application of skills.
- Collaborate with the program team to manage and maintain program spaces and resources.
- Contribute to programmatic sustainability of the programs.
- Assist in the recruitment and training of program staff and volunteers as needed.
Qualifications:
- Passion for sharing curiousity and exploration in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math with youth
- Relevant experience in a support role within an educational, recreational, or similar setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with public speaking in assemblies is a requirement
- Experience working with children from diverse backgrounds is an asset.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with basic administrative tasks and program logistics.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying program needs and schedules.
- Commitment to creating and maintaining an inclusive and safe environment for all participants.
