More Than a Hub
Ethọ́s Lab is a non-profit innovation academy with a vibrant hub in the heart of Vancouver. We make STEAM learning (Science, Technology, Engineering, Applied Arts and Math) accessible and exciting by offering afterschool project-based programs and in-school activations for youth in Grades 5-12.
We empower young people of all identities and abilities to lead and thrive through our learning experiences that blend culture, community, creativity, and leadership.
Ethos is committed to developing the next generation of diverse creators. Our approach to innovation is grounded in the African philosophy of Ubuntu “I am because we are” providing inclusive dynamic learning spaces that build community and centers the interconnected nature of innovation.
Youth gain the confidence to create a positive impact in their communities through innovation. With an extensive network of industry, educational and community partners within Vancouver’s innovation ecosystem, we connect youth with tools, opportunities, networks, and mentorship, helping them explore education and career pathways, while discovering who they are, imagining what’s possible, and actualizing their potential.
